Airline Tickets Costs
Airline ticket costs are an integral part of your travel and holiday cost to Sri Lanka. We always will obtain the very best ticket prices for you based on your specific requirements. We will always include airline ticket costs in your itinerary quote unless specifically advised by you that you require 'land only' prices.

We STRONGLY recommend however that we quote you airfare and land costs together in the one price as we generally have access to special lower tour basing airfare costs that can only be combined with land costs. Also by purchasing the complete itinerary including airfare costs through us your booking  is completely protected through our ATOL and ABTA licensing with Medway Travel Services.

Double daily to Sri Lanka!
Sri Lankan Airlines is the only airline in the UK that flies direct daily to Colombo as well as 5 times a week via *Male (*capital of the Maldives) to Colombo where the aircraft will stopover for approximately 40 minutes before proceeding onto Colombo. (Passengers to Colombo cannot disembark in Mali)

Schedules are correct at 01 August 2011 but are subject to change and vary seasonally. All flights to Colombo with  Sri Lankan Airlines leave from Heathrow Terminal 4. Sri Lankan airlines has excellent code share agreements with other UK airports with British Midland and British Airways from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds Bradford, Teesside, Belfast and Dublin.

Seat Pitch
Sri Lankan Airlines Economy seat pitch averages 32 inches which is well above average on most charter airlines. There are also two seat rows in front of the bulkhead with extra legroom. Some Sri Lankan Airlines aircraft also have extra legroom seats (36 inches) on rows 1-15 that are available on a first-come first-served basis as well as seat pre-booking. (Subject to joining their "Smiles" frequent flyer programme.)

'Economy Plus Upgrade'
We recommend flying  'Economy Plus' to make your journey especially relaxing.. enjoy a seat pitch of 35 inches in a separate exclusive cabin section - ensuring a relaxed rested arrival at your destination. Currently 'Economy Plus' seats are an additional cost of £60 for one way upgrade or £120 for a return trip.
